Cresswell And Fornals In, Masuaku and Yarmolenko Out: West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face United

West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that Aaron Cresswell is likely to start in Arthur Masuaku’s absence when the Hammers play Manchester United tomorrow.

There had been some talk that Pablo Zabaleta could cover for Masuaku, who is suspended after his sending-off in the 0-0 draw against Aston Villa on Monday night, but it appears Cresswell will be given the nod.

Pellegrini would have been satisfied with most aspects of the performance last time out but the lack of cutting edge in the final third may see Andriy Yarmolenko dropped.

The Ukrainian didn’t have the best of games at Villa Park and it may offer Pablo Fornals another opportunity to make his mark in an Irons shirt. The Spaniard has taken longer than hoped to settle in England, and a good performance against United could kickstart his season.

There are some doubts over the fitness of Manuel Lanzini so that would be the only other likely change if the Argentinian doesn’t make it through a late fitness test. Considering his excellent form, supporters will be hoping the playmaker is fit to start.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Manchester United:

Fabianski, Fredericks, Diop, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Rice, Noble, Fornals, Lanzini, Anderson, Haller
