West Ham striker Sebastien Haller has struggled in the Hammers’ last two games against Everton and Sheffield United, with the Frenchman having found it difficult to get involved in proceedings.
Fans on Twitter have been debating whether the Irons are not providing enough service to the frontman, or if the club’s record signing is simply not doing enough:

Needs to play two up front if your playing Haller. Too isolated up top on his own.

West Ham’s poor recent run of results and Haller’s dip in form have coincided which suggests that the forward is heavily reliant on his team performing well to create chances for him.
There’s no doubt that he needs to contribute more, but he has been so isolated in the last two matches, it can be difficult to have an impact.
Haller is best deployed when he has midfielders and forwards around him to feed off. Whether manager Manuel Pellegrini will make the necessary changes to ensure he is more involved in upcoming games, we shall have to wait and see.
