Barcelona will look to sell left-back Junior Firpo for €20m (£17m) in the summer, according to reports in the Catalan media.

The 24-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements at the Camp Nou, with a number of Premier League and Italian clubs said to be interested in the defender. West Ham were linked with the player in January and supporters on Twitter are mostly behind the Hammers making a move for him at the end of the season:

Firpo hasn’t really impressed since moving to Barca from Real Betis eighteen months ago, although it must be said he hasn’t really been given a chance by manager Ronald Koeman this season, having started just two league games.

Aaron Cresswell has been in superb form, and with Arthur Masuaku close to making a comeback from a knee injury, there is less urgency to bring in a new left-back. It is therefore not guaranteed that manager David Moyes will sanction a move for Firpo.
