Chelsea winger Hakim Ziyech could be sold if a club tables an offer of around €20m (£17.5m) before the transfer window closes on Tuesday, according to reports in Italy.
Roma, AC Milan and Everton have all been linked with the Moroccan international but, when asked if West Ham should consider pursuing the player, fans on Twitter were split on whether it is a realistic move:
Would be so good for us

He’ll never come to us.
We can’t afford his wages, especially if we have a cap of 120k— Adam Leatherbarrow (@A_A_L_1986) January 27, 2023
Yes, bring him to West Ham

Not tempted at all. Another flimsy winger without pace. Good delivery but not the athletic dynamic player we need and far greater priorities….ST, CB

17.5 mill is so cheap for what he has to offer

Ziyech’s preferred position is the right wing, which is where Jarrod Bowen plays. Giving the 26-year-old some competition may not be a bad idea, considering how poorly he started the season, but there are question marks over whether Ziyech would be happy being a rotation option.
On top of the fact that the 29-year-old’s wages are likely to be pretty high, you can’t see manager David Moyes prioritising a move for the forward this month. Recruiting a centre-back and potentially another out-and-out striker are expected to be the primary focus ahead of the deadline.
