What is West Ham’s best XI coming into the 18/19 season?

West Ham United have had one of the busiest and most exciting transfer windows in the Premier League so far this summer, and it’s fair to say the atmosphere surrounding the club going into the new season vastly different to how last season ended.

The Hammers have brought in six new players so far, spending close to £100m and smashing their club transfer record on Brazilian winger Felipe Anderson.

Anderson has been joined by Andriy Yarmalenko from Borussia Dortmund, Issa Diop from Tolouse, Jack Wilshere from Arsenal, Ryan Fredericks from Fulham, Lukas Fabianski from Swansea and Fabian Balbuena from Corinthians .

All of the Hammers’ signings this summer can expect to challenge for a first team spot in Manuel Pellegrini’s team next season, and there’s still plenty more big-money moves linked to the London Stadium.

But how will Pellegrini set out his team next season with all the new players on board?

We’ve created what we believe is West Ham’s strongest XI below.

One thing that this line-up shows is how good the squad depth is, with there still being plenty of players left out as well as some promising youth stars who are sure to be given an opportunity or two under the Chilean boss.

There are promising times ahead for the Hammers, and it will be interesting to see just how well they perform next season.
