West Ham are tracking Hatayspor striker Aaron Boupendza, according to 90min.com. The 24-year-old has attracted interest from a whole host of British clubs after scoring 18 goals in the Turkish Super Lig this season.

No less than ten teams, including the Hammers, are after the forward, with Southampton, Crystal Palace, Newcastle, Tottenham, Brighton, Wolves, Leicester, Rangers and Celtic having all taken a look at the player.

Boupendza is an international teammate of Arsenal captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang and 90min.com claim that the Gabonese star has even talked to the Gunners about signing the striker.

There are some similarities between Boupendza and Aubameyang. Both are equally capable of playing through the middle or from the left-hand side and they use their speed to get in behind defences.

Hatayspor are reportedly looking for a fee in the region of £8.5m for the player, which isn’t a great deal considering how much a good quality forward can go for these days.
