West Ham Eye Move For 6ft 5 Bundesliga Powerhouse But They Could Face Competition From 2 PL Rivals

West Ham are weighing up a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah, according to reports in the English media.

The 6ft 5 centre-back is being targeted by the Hammers as a potential replacement for Craig Dawson, who left to join Wolves last month.

Tah is said to be angling for a switch to the Premier League this summer but the Hammers are not the only team keeping an eye on his situation.

Both Liverpool and Newcastle are said to have already held discussions with the German international’s representatives about a possible transfer at the end of the season.

There have also been reports suggesting that Chelsea have been scouting Tah, which means David Moyes‘s side may have a battle on their hands to secure the player’s signature.

At the moment, it appears that the race for the 26-year-old is still very much open but West Ham may have to move quickly if they want to be front of the queue.
