Owen Predicts A Difficult Night For The Hammers As They Face Liverpool

BT Sport pundit Michael Owen does not expect West Ham to come away from Anfield tonight with any points.

The Hammers face a Liverpool side who have won every single league game at home this campaign and the former England international doesn’t even think that the away side will get a goal:

“Liverpool have kept a clean sheet in 10 of their last 11 league games and I don’t think David Moyes’ relegation-threatened West Ham side will be able to prevent another three points for Jurgen Klopp’s record-breaking Reds.”

Considering their disappointing display against Manchester City on Wednesday night, there is not a lot of optimism among Irons supporters that they will be able to get anything from this game.

Even so, there have been shock results in the past, and it must be said that the Reds have not played particularly well since the winter break.

They laboured to a 1-0 win against bottom of the table Norwich City before succumbing to a 1-0 defeat to Atletico Madrid last week. Their lack of goals may be a reason to hope that West Ham can keep them at bay tonight, but it remains to be seen if there is enough resilience in this current Hammers side.
