West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini will be in charge for the Hammers’ trip to Crystal Palace on Boxing Day, according to ExWHUEmployee.
The insider claims that West Ham’s win against Southampton on Saturday was enough for the Chilean to keep his job and that the board will now decide on a game by game basis. Supporters are not happy with the club’s decision:
It’s laughable it really is

Job saved because Anderson was injured and he was forced to play haller and Antonio together.
Still don't feel that can justify him staying.— James Mitchell (@jmitchell0811) December 15, 2019
Pathetic! Antonio and a poor Southampton team paper over the cracks. Yes team worked hard. However, 442 against most teams and we get over run! What is Pelle plan for the team? We are going backwards

What a way to run a club….

Usual shambolic penny pinching approach.
Get shot now and give the new manager as much time as possible until our next game— Richard (@Richardod64) December 15, 2019
It’s a nonsense situation really isn’t it!

So he is on a game by game policy now? Intriguing, I’m sure that is good for the squad

So if we lose to Palace he's gone? What's the point in that?

This indecisiveness is another example of how badly ownership is running the club.
We have been on the “fence” for weeks, they have enough information to make a decision.
Either sack him or back him. This uncertainty is distracting for the team ⚒

I'm assuming we have another manager lined up to take his place if/when he loses his job? If so they are better doing it now than waiting as we have a good gap between now and the next game

There has been a report that the decision to sack Pellegrini has already been made but, if ExWHUEmployee’s information is accurate, he will be at Selhurst Park in two weeks time.
The gap between matches, due to the postponement of the Liverpool fixture, was seen as the ideal opportunity to change managers but it appears the club will not be taking advantage of it.
What will happen if West Ham lose to Palace, it remains to be seen. The Irons will be in the midst of a packed fixture schedule and it could prove to be a difficult time to make a new appointment.
