Bologna have made an enquiry for West Ham defender Angelo Ogbonna, according to reports in Italy.
The Serie A club’s manager Sinisa Mihajlovic is said to be keen on the Italian international to reinforce his backline for next season.
Supporters on Twitter have been debating how much Ogbonna should be sold for if, that is, he should be let go at all:
I wouldn't take anything less than £10m. Use the money to bring in Maripan or Kabak. Lower the overall age of the squad ??

At 31 I would take 5-8m just to get him off the wage bill and bring in a 15-20m 25yr old

We are not the bargain basement team for the transfer window – Ogbonna is a solid defender with a good few years in him!

I would keep him and get rid of Reid.

If he's in demand more than what they offer, if we want to get rid of him then take what's offered

We’ll be lucky to get £8m

The Hammers signed Ogbonna for €11m back in 2015 so the London club won’t want to make a loss on what they paid.
However, at 31 years of age, he isn’t getting any younger either so getting a good fee while he still has some value may be worth considering.
West Ham’s defence wasn’t the best last season, having conceded 55 in the league, and Ogbonna could be offloaded in order to finance a move for another centre-back like Guillermo Maripan.
Alaves are said to be holding for €25m (£22m) for the Chilean who has already said that he’d like to move to England.
