‘Don’t Want Him!’ ‘This Just Stinks Of Utter Desperation’ Fans On Social Media Unhappy As West Ham Target Ex-Chelsea Man

West Ham are considering a move for Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, according to multiple reports in the English media.

The Hammers are looking for potential replacements for Roberto who has failed to impress during his time deputising for the injured Lukasz Fabianski.

Begovic is currently on loan at Azeri side Qarabag but will be returning to England in January. Fans on Twitter are not particularly confident that the Bosnian keeper will be a much of an improvement on what they already have:

Bournemouth signed Begovic from Chelsea for £10m in 2017 but his form has dropped sharply to the extent that he will be deemed fourth choice by Cherries boss Eddie Howe on his return to the South coast in the New Year.

West Ham are looking at alternatives, with former Hammers keeper Darren Randolph and Stoke’s Jack Butland other names reportedly being considered in the search for a new goalkeeper.
