West Ham are considering a move for Bournemouth goalkeeper Asmir Begovic, according to multiple reports in the English media.
The Hammers are looking for potential replacements for Roberto who has failed to impress during his time deputising for the injured Lukasz Fabianski.
Begovic is currently on loan at Azeri side Qarabag but will be returning to England in January. Fans on Twitter are not particularly confident that the Bosnian keeper will be a much of an improvement on what they already have:
Don't want him! When fabianski is fit all will be good. We need a keeper underneath him who will develop into our new no.1.
Dillon Phillips is ideal. We should buy and loan him back to Charlton. Next season we could have Cullen and him in our squad.

Pretty much like their Manager criteria.
Doesn't matter how poor they have been as a Manager.
If they have experience in the Premier League it must mean they are better than Managers like Kovac etc— Jonesy ☆ (@RockyWhu) December 9, 2019

Bournemouth signed Begovic from Chelsea for £10m in 2017 but his form has dropped sharply to the extent that he will be deemed fourth choice by Cherries boss Eddie Howe on his return to the South coast in the New Year.
West Ham are looking at alternatives, with former Hammers keeper Darren Randolph and Stoke’s Jack Butland other names reportedly being considered in the search for a new goalkeeper.
