Chelsea V West Ham: Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham are preparing for a second London derby in the space of a few days. After a spirited fightback against Tottenham midweek, they will travel to Stamford Bridge to face Chelsea on Saturday in a better frame of mind.

Despite their spending in the transfer market, the Blues have struggled at the start of this season, having already lost twice in their opening five fixtures.

In terms of team news, the Hammers have four fitness concerns, with Gianluca Scamacca (illness), Craig Dawson (thigh) and Ben Johnson (hamstring) doubts for the game, while Nayef Aguerd is still sidelined with an ankle injury.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Take On Chelsea:

Fabianski, Coufal, Kehrer, Zouma, Emerson, Soucek, Paqueta, Rice, Bowen, Antonio, Benrahma

Chelsea boss Thomas Tuchel will be able to welcome back Conor Gallagher from suspension, but there are doubts over the fitness of Reece James (virus), Ruben Loftus-Cheek (hamstring) and Nathaniel Chalobah (knee). N’Golo Kante (hamstring) also remains on the treatment table.

Chelsea’s Predicted XI:

Mendy, Azpilicueta, Fofana, Silva, Koulibaly, Cucurella, Kovacic, Jorginho, Mount, Havertz, Sterling

The bookmakers have made Chelsea the favourites with Betfred pricing them 8/15 odds-on for the win. A draw is 15/4 with Bet 365 while a victory for West Ham is 11/2 at Coral.

Predicted Score – 2-1 to West Ham
