West Ham forward Sebastien Haller has struggled to make an impression since arriving from Eintracht Frankfurt for a club-record fee in the summer.
The Frenchman did get off to a good start at the London Stadium, scoring three goals in his first three league fixtures, but things quickly dried up in front of goal.
There are some supporters on Twitter who have defended Haller, feeling he hasn’t been used properly, but the majority of fans have been very disappointed in the 25-year-old’s performances:
You have to question buying him. The price isn't his fault and the lad can clearly play football. Unfortunately we don't play to his strengths and when we have he has been useful. Will we change to suit him? Doubt it. Wouldn't call him a flop though.

He’ll leave in the summer I reckon. Never looked like he wants to be here… class finisher tho

Shown signs of his brilliance, but not £45m so far

He may well be talented & we haven’t seen it, but in a difficult season, he’s been lazy, his work rate has been poor & often looked disinterested. 5 out of 10 max. With Bowen & Antonio I’d expect much more, but given attitude issues, if we could get our money back, I’d take it.

His been worth 4.5 million

The Irons have been linked with Italian forward Andrea Belotti in recent days but any deal to sign a replacement would be predicated on Haller leaving the club.
Whether anyone would offer close to £45m for him, it seems doubtful, and the likeliest outcome is that he is given another season to prove himself.
Some players take longer to adapt to English football than others, and if he is provided with the right service, there is still a chance he could turnaround his Hammers career.
