West Ham goalkeeper Roberto looks set to keep his place in goal despite a series of errors in recent games, according to reports in the English media.
It is believed that third choice David Martin is not a candidate to start for the upcoming game against Tottenham with the former Millwall shot-stopper being hired on a short-term contract to be used in training rather than on matchdays.
Fans on Twitter are not happy with Hammers boss Manuel Pellegrini’s decision to keep faith with Roberto:
What a load of nonsense ??

You have to be kidding. He is a liability!! But given the decisions made by MP recently (no Ogbonna or Masauku) it’s not surprising. Bring back that spirit we had just 6 week ago.

With Lukasz Fabianski only expected to return from a hip injury in January, the Irons could face at least another seven or eight games without their number one.
There has been speculation about bringing in another keeper when the transfer window reopens but that would come too late. West Ham fans will likely have to endure at least another six weeks of Roberto being in goal.
