West Ham Vying With Manchester United For £26m Rated Brazilian Marksman

West Ham are keen on Gremio forward Everton, according to reports from Italy.

The Hammers won’t be the only side in for the 23-year-old, however, with Manchester United, AC Milan and Roma also interested in recruiting the Brazilian.

Everton made his way through Gremio’s academy before playing his first senior game back in 2014. Although predominantly right-footed, the winger generally plays off the left flank, cutting inside for shots on goal.

His form for Gremio got him his first senior cap in the 2-0 friendly win against the USA back in September. He also played against both Panama and the Czech Republic for Brazil in the last international break.

Everton is believed to have a buyout clause of €60m, but reports suggest he could be available for half that amount, at €30m (£26m). Even though he is unproven in Europe, the forward looks like he could be worth a gamble considering his recent performances.

Whether West Ham manager Manuel Pellegrini will look to make a bid for the Brazilian international in the summer, we shall have to wait and see.
