73% Fans Agree That West Ham Should NOT Cash In On Their Star Man Amid Chelsea Transfer Saga

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has been consistently linked with a move to Chelsea over the past twelve months. Things began to die down after Frank Lampard’s departure from Stamford Bridge but, in recent weeks, interest has resurfaced with new manager Thomas Tuchel also said to be a fan of the 22-year-old.

Speculation increased when it emerged that Rice had turned down two new contract offers, but the Hammers have stood firm on their £100m valuation. When polled by Hammers Headlines about whether the club should consider cashing in on the England international, almost three-quarters of supporters want the player to stay. As vice-captain, Rice is an integral member of the first-team squad so it would be a huge blow for West Ham if he were to move on this summer. It is not only Chelsea who are interested in the midfielder either, with Manchester United and Manchester City also reportedly keen, but with just a couple of weeks left in the transfer window, it does appear that he will be staying put.
