Declan Rice Makes Crucial Decision On His West Ham Future Amid Chelsea, United And City Rumours

West Ham midfielder Declan Rice has accepted that he will be staying at the London Stadium for at least another year, according to the Daily Mail.

The newspaper reports the £90m price tag that the Hammers have slapped on the player has forced the likes of Chelsea, Manchester United and Manchester City to step away from making a bid.

Rice is, therefore, willing to wait another twelve months in the hope that one of the three teams will be willing to spend a sizeable amount on him when some of the effects of the global health crisis have subsided.

The England international is ambitious and is very keen on playing in the Champions League. He has already turned down two contract offers from West Ham and the midfielder has told the club that he wants to be informed if any approaches are made.

For now, though, Rice is content on staying put, and he believes remaining for another season with the Irons will still be beneficial as David Moyes’ side embark on their first campaign in the Europa League.
