West Ham Turn Their Sights Towards In Form Bundesliga Ace With £13m Price Tag

West Ham are one of the clubs pursuing Dusseldorf winger Benito Raman, according to reports in the German media.

The Belgian has been in good form in the Bundesliga this campaign, having scored nine goals and contributed 3 assists in 24 league appearances.

Raman’s performances since the beginning of February have been particularly impressive, helping his team to wins against the likes of Schalke, Borussia Monchengladbach and Hertha Berlin.

The 24-year-old played a crucial role in the victory against Hertha last weekend, scoring goals in either half to clinch a 2-1 away win.

With Ranan’s help, Dusseldorf are now mid-table, well clear of the relegation places in their first season back in the top flight since 2013.

The German team are, therefore, reluctant to let go of their prized asset and they will reportedly hold out for at least €15m (£13m) for the wide man.

Considering the Hammers have a wealth of talented wingers already in Felipe Anderson, Andriy Yarmolenko, Robert Snodgrass and Samir Nasri, it remains to be seen whether a move for Ranan would be a top priority in the summer.
