West Ham Tipped To Make Double Transfer Swoop On United Before Deadline Day

West Ham are interested in signing Manchester United pair Jesse Lingard and Brandon Williams before the transfer window closes, according to reports.

One press report claims that Lingard is considering his future after being left out of the FA Cup win against Liverpool, with the Hammers, Newcastle and West Brom all believed to be interested in taking him.

Sheffield United and Rangers have also been linked with the former England international, who could be available on a loan deal until the end of the season.

Another source in the English press suggests Lingard’s teammate, Williams, is also very much on the club’s radar. The fullback is expected to be sent out on a temporary basis in order to gain more first-team experience.

West Ham manager David Moyes is keen to improve his options at fullback but he may have to fight off a strong challenge from Southampton to secure the United defender’s signature.
