West Ham Owner Is An ‘Admirer’ Of Former Chelsea Boss As Possible Moyes Replacement Emerges

West Ham co-owner David Sullivan is an “admirer” of Graham Potter, according to the Claret & Hugh.

The website claim that the “surprise availability” of the 47-year-old may “tempt” Sullivan to sack current boss David Moyes and replace him with the former Chelsea head coach.

Potter’s sacking was confirmed on Sunday; a day after the Blues’ shock 2-0 home defeat to Aston Villa, but it remains to be seen whether he would consider a swift return to management.

West Ham secured a vital 1-0 win over Southampton at the weekend, moving them up to 14th in the Premier League table and easing the pressure on Moyes somewhat. However, they are still only one point off the dropzone.

It could well be the case that Sullivan holds fire on replacing Moyes but, even if the Scot does manage to guide the Irons to safety, there could still be an opportunity for Potter to be brought in at the end of the season.
