West Ham On Alert With Liverpool Ace Poised To Leave On Free Transfer

Liverpool attacking midfielder Adam Lallana is set to leave the Merseyside club on a free transfer in the summer, according to the BBC.

The 31-year-old has been linked with West Ham, as well as Leicester, Arsenal and Tottenham, and it looks like there will now be a battle between the four Premier League clubs for the England international’s signature.

Lallana’s current contract at Anfield expires at the end of the season and with no talks scheduled to take place over a new deal, it looks almost certain that the midfielder will be leaving the Reds.

The former Southampton player has become a peripheral figure at the club over the past couple of years, with injuries having played their part in his limited game time.

However, Lallana has not been sidelined once due to fitness problems this campaign, and the main issue has been a lack of first-team opportunities due to the depth of midfield options that manager Jurgen Klopp has at his disposal.
