West Ham, Aston Villa, Newcastle and Everton are all potential suitors for Espanyol striker Raul de Tomas, according to reports in the Spanish media.

The 27-year-old is believed to be available for around €35m (£30m) and the Hammers may consider the forward as they look to strengthen their options up front.

Chelsea’s Armando Broja is reportedly manager David Moyes’ top target, while an offer has also been submitted for Sassuolo’s Gianluca Scamacca, but neither deal is guaranteed to go through.

With regards to Broja, a loan move is said to be more likely than a permanent deal but Blues boss Thomas Tuchel has spoken out in recent days to say he is keen to keep the player at Stamford Bridge. Sassuolo, meanwhile, haven’t responded to West Ham’s bid for Scamacca.

De Tomas could, therefore, be seen as a decent alternative. The Spanish international was linked with Arsenal in January, and he scored 17 goals in the league last season.
