West Ham Make Contact With 50 Year Old Manager About Replacing Moyes

West Ham have been in touch with former Tottenham and Paris Saint-Germain manager Mauricio Pochettino to ascertain whether he would be interested in replacing David Moyes at the London Stadium, according to reports in France.

It is believed that the Hammers have only made a tentative enquiry at this stage, but it is clear that Moyes is under pressure to get results in upcoming games in order to keep his job.

After spending over £150m on new signings during the summer transfer window, it was somewhat inevitable that Moyes’ position would come under scrutiny, especially as West Ham’s poor form stretches back to the end of last season.

Pochettino has been linked with a number of Premier League jobs in recent months, including managerial posts at Chelsea and Manchester United, so it remains to be seen whether the 50-year-old would be open to an offer from the Irons if one is proposed.
