‘Could Be Worse’ ‘That’s Some Big Profit If He Leaves!’ Fans React As Price Tag For 13 Goal West Ham Star Is Revealed

West Ham forward Mohammed Kudus has a release clause worth £85m in his contract, according to the Claret & Hugh.

The club insiders have confirmed the rumours that a buyout fee does exist but they also claim that it can only be triggered at the end of next season.

On the whole, fans on X are happy about Kudus’s price tag, after having recruited him from Ajax for £38m back in August last year:

Kudus has impressed during his first season at the London Stadium

The Ghanaian international didn’t take long to settle into his new surroundings, scoring his first two goals in the Hammers’ first group game of their Europa League campaign back in September.

Kudus bagged a brace during the 3-1 win over Backa Topola and he has gone on to score 13 times in all competitions for David Moyes’s side.

Rival Premier League teams are keeping tabs on the West Ham player

Even before Kudus made the switch to the Irons, the forward was the subject of enquiries and bids from no less than four other English clubs, including Brighton, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United.

It’s likely that some of those teams are still monitoring the 23-year-old’s situation, but the fact that the release clause doesn’t become active for another year gives West Ham a strong hand in negotiations if an approach is made this summer.
