West Ham Linked With Surprise Swoop For 27 Cap France International Midfielder

West Ham are weighing up a potential move for Bayern Munich midfielder Corentin Tolisso, according to Sport1.

The German TV channel, who are generally well respected when it comes to accuracy, claim both the Hammers and Juventus are keeping tabs on the Frenchman, who has been capped 27 times by his country.

Tolisso has less than a year remaining on his contract at Bayern and, unless he signs an extension in the coming weeks, the Bundesliga champions will be forced into selling for a knockdown price to prevent him from leaving for nothing next year.

Arsenal and Manchester United have both been linked with the 27-year-old in previous summers, but the France international’s poor injury record seems to have scared off most bidders.

Whether Tolisso would be interested in moving to the London Stadium, it does seem unlikely, but if West Ham can come up with a satisfactory offer for the midfielder, they could be in with a chance of securing his signature.
