Wesley Moraes

West Ham are targeting Club Brugge striker Wesley Moraes, according to reports in Italy.

The Hammers have joined the likes of Lazio, Newcastle and Bayer Leverkusen in pursuing the Brazilian, who has also been linked with Arsenal in recent months.

Wesley is still making his way in the game at the age of 22 but he has begun to show signs of maturity this campaign, having scored 17 goals and contributed 10 assists in all competitions for Brugge.

Lazio are believed to be the keenest on the forward with the Italian club having tracked him throughout the season.

The Serie A side’s president Claudio Lotito is said to be prepared to table a bid of between €15m (£13m) and €16m (£14m) for Wesley.

Those sort of figures would certainly put him in the price range of West Ham, who are said to be interested in West Brom’s Salomon Rondon for around the same amount.
