West Ham fans are absolutely delighted with their club’s business in the transfer market so far.
The Hammers have had an incredibly busy summer so far, with new manager Manuel Pellegrini making no less than seven new signings.
Former Arsenal star Jack Wilshere joined his boyhood club on a free transfer, as did Ryan Frederick’s who made the short move across the capital from newly promoted Fulham.
Goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski joined the Hammers from Swansea in an £7 million; Paraguayan Fabian Baluena made the switch from Corinthians in Brazil; and highly rated defender Issa Diop arrived from Ligue 1 side Toulouse in a £22 million deal.
Borussia Dortmund winger Andrey Yarmolenko also became a Hammer, whilst Brazilian Felipe Anderson became the club’s record signing, joining in a £34 million move from Lazio.
Are they finished there? You can bet your bottom dollar they’re aren’t.
West Ham reportedly made a £25 million bid for Newcastle United defender Jamaal Lascelles earlier this week, while former star Dimitri Payet is also reportedly on his way back to the London Stadium, only 18-months after re-joining Marseille.
Yaya Toure has also been linked with the Hammers, as has Sporting Lisbon star Bruno Fernandes.
The West Ham fans can’t quite believe what they’re seeing …

David Sullivan takes a step back from transfers, a Director of Football is signed and then, all of a sudden, West Ham are operating effectively and professionally in the transfer market. This is how it should be done. Finally! #WHUFC #COYI
