West Ham Are One Of 6 PL Clubs Tracking World Cup Semi Finalist Who Has Slammed His Club For His Lack Of Game Time

West Ham are keeping tabs on Bayern Munich fullback Noussair Mazraoui, according to reports in the UK.

The Moroccan, who played a prominent role as his country made it to the World Cup semi-finals, has spoken out in recent days about his lack of game time since returning from the tournament in Qatar:

“I was a starter here before the World Cup. Now I’m fit and don’t get any game time. I’m not even second or third choice. It’s too early to talk about my perspective here – but it’s not good!”

Mazraoui only joined Bayern on a free transfer from Ajax in July last year, but he has made just two substitute appearances in 2023 so far, and it appears he wants to play more regularly.

The Hammers won’t be the only team pursuing the 25-year-old’s services, though. Manchester United, Newcastle United, Wolves, Arsenal and Crystal Palace are also said to be tracking developments.

Although he can also play as a left-back, Mazraoui is most comfortable on the right-hand side of defence so, if West Ham do win the battle for his signature, he would be in direct competition with Vladimir Coufal.
