West Ham will try to sell Jordan Hugill on a permanent basis when the transfer window reopens, according to reports in the UK.
The 27-year-old has spent the season out on loan at Queens Park Rangers and while he has had a decent campaign for the Championship, fans on Twitter are not surprised that the striker is deemed surplus to requirements:
Well there’s a shock !! Not

Not good enough, not needed, not given a chance… whatever the excuse, this was another embarrassing purchase by our club. I feel really sorry for the guy and I hope he goes on to have a great career wherever he ends up. @JordanHugill

Doubt if anyone's keen to buy, or he's keen to leave though, which might be a stumbling block!!!!

Manager David Moyes was the person who signed Hugill from Preston for £10m during his first spell in charge. However, it appears even he knew it was a mistake early on.
The forward only made three brief substitute appearances in the 2017/18 season following his arrival in the January transfer window. He was then loaned out to Middlesbrough by Manuel Pellegrini.
Hugill has scored 13 goals in 37 appearances for QPR this campaign but it was clear he was not quite cut out for playing in the Premier League. It’s likely that the Hammers will have to take a sizeable hit on what they paid for him in order to sell on the player.
