Southampton V West Ham: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham’s victory against Anderlecht on Thursday means David Moyes’ side have now won six of their last seven matches, lifting much of the gloom following a poor start to the campaign.

In contrast, Southampton boss Ralph Hasenhuttl is under a lot of pressure heading into this weekend’s game, with the Saints having lost four in a row since beating Chelsea at the end of August.

Four West Ham players will undergo late fitness tests ahead of Sunday’s fixture. Michail Antonio and Kurt Zouma have been sidelined with illness, while Thilo Kehrer (knock) and Craig Dawson (dead leg) are being assessed. Angelo Ogbonna (hamstring), Maxwel Cornet (calf) and Nayef Aguerd (ankle) have all been ruled out.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Take On Southampton:

Fabianski, Kehrer, Dawson, Zouma, Cresswell, Soucek, Paqueta, Rice, Bowen, Scamacca, Fornals

The Saints will have Moussa Djenepo (illness), Romeo Lavia (hamstring) and Tino Livramento (knee) unavailable for the match at St Mary’s.

Southampton’s Predicted XI:

Bazunu, Walker-Peters, Bella-Kotchap, Caleta-Car, Perraud, S. Armstrong, Ward-Prowse, Diallo, Aribo, A. Armstrong, Adams
