Serie A Side Confident Of Sealing Move For £21m Rated Brazilian Ahead Of West Ham

Lazio are confident that Club Brugge striker Wesley Moraes will move to Serie A this summer, according to reports in Italy.

The Brazilian is said to favour a move to the Biancoceleste ahead of the likes of West Ham, Newcastle and Bayer Leverkusen, who are also believed to be interested.

However, Lazio have yet to agree a fee with Club Brugge for Wesley with sporting director Igli Tare trying to lower the Belgian club’s €22m (£19m) to €24m (£21m) asking price.

The Italian side are only reportedly willing to pay between €16m (£14m) and €18m (£16m) plus bonuses for the 22-year-old.

Wesley has had a good season in Belgium, scoring 17 goals and contributing ten assists in 48 games.

West Ham have been linked with a host of forwards this summer already with Celta Vigo’s Maxi Gomez, Newcastle’s Salomon Rondon and Fulham’s Aleksandar Mitrovic all said to be targets for the Hammers.
