West Ham attacking midfielder Felipe Anderson is trying to engineer a move back to Lazio, according to reports in the English media.

The Brazilian is currently on holiday in Italy and it has been claimed that talks have begun about a potential switch to the Serie A club, just two seasons after leaving.

Supporters on Twitter have been debating whether the Hammers should sell Anderson this summer:

West Ham are highly unlikely to get anywhere close to the £36m they paid for the 27-year-old in 2018, with reliable journalist Sam Inkersole even suggesting that they may have to take a £6m to £11m hit on the player.

However, considering the financial impact of the global health crisis, they may not even receive a transfer offer this summer, and a loan departure cannot be ruled out if they can take his wages off their books, and a decent loan fee is offered.
