REPORT: West Ham Set To Join Two Clubs In Pursuing 5 Cap Dutch International

West Ham are expected to challenge AC Milan and Atletico Madrid for the signature of Club Brugge winger Noa Lang, according to Calciomercato.com.

The Italian website believes that Milan are keeping tabs on the 23-year-old but they will face competition for the player’s services.

Lang has been linked with the Hammers and Arsenal in previous transfer windows, and the forward has expressed an interest in moving to a “big club”.

He is certainly a player with a growing reputation, having made five appearances for the Netherlands over the past year. He wasn’t called up for the most recent international break after picking up an ankle injury but he is among the contenders hoping to go to the World Cup.

Whether West Ham actually need a player like Lang, though, it is up for debate. He generally favours playing off the left wing; a position that the Irons already have plenty of cover in.
