New Twist As Bayern Prepare Offer Which Could Match West Ham’s £120M Price Tag For Rice

Bayern Munich could offer players in an attempt to meet West Ham’s asking price for Declan Rice, according to reports in the UK.

It was claimed in the German press earlier this week that the Bundesliga champions were willing to put €100m (£86m) on the table but that still falls short of the £120m that the Hammers want for the England international.

However, the inclusion of players could well tempt David Moyes’ side into accepting an offer from Bayern, leaving rivals such as Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United with a decision to make over whether to make similar bids of their own.

Rice has reportedly made Arsenal his preferred destination but it is believed that both Bayern boss Thomas Tuchel and technical director Marco Neppe have spoken to the midfielder in order to persuade him into making the switch to Germany instead.

Which Bayern players could West Ham get in exchange for Rice?

The three players who have been tipped to leave the Allianz Arena this summer are Benjamin Pavard, Ryan Gravenberch and Sadio Mane.

Out of the trio, the likeliest would be Gravenberch, although reports suggest that Liverpool have held talks about signing the Dutch international. We will probably find out more about who Bayern want to offer the Irons in the coming days.
