Liverpool V West Ham: Match Preview, Predicted XI And Betting Odds

West Ham continued their impressive start to the season with another good result last weekend against Manchester City, but they will face an equally difficult test when they travel to Anfield to face Premier League champions Liverpool on Saturday.

The Reds are vulnerable, though, with manager Jurgen Klopp down to his last fit centre-back in Joe Gomez so the Hammers will be looking to exploit their opponent’s defensive problems.

Manager David Moyes should have forward Michail Antonio available for the weekend. The 30-year-old had to be subbed in the draw against City due to a tight hamstring. New signing Said Benrahma could also feature after missing out on the matchday squad last week due to a lack of match fitness.

West Ham’s Predicted XI To Face Liverpool:

Fabianski, Coufal, Balbuena, Ogbonna, Cresswell, Masuaku, Soucek, Rice, Bowen, Antonio, Fornals,

Liverpool currently have seven players on the treatment table. Thiago Alcantara (knee), Kostas Tsmikas (thigh) and Naby Keita (knock) are doubts, while Virgil van Dijk (knee), Joel Matip (knock), Fabinho (hamstring) and Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain (knee) are all unavailable.

Liverpool’s Predicted XI:

Alisson, Alexander-Arnold, Rhys Williams, Gomez, Robertson, Wijnaldum, Henderson, Jones, Salah, Firmino, Mane

The bookmakers have Liverpool as the favourites with Betfred pricing them at 2/5 for the win. A draw is 22/5 with Unibet while a West Ham victory is 15/2 at 888 Sport.

Predicted Score – 2-2
