West Ham manager David Moyes will look to bring in Manchester United pair Jesse Lingard and Phil Jones if the Hammers stay up this season, according to the Independent.
It is thought both players are deemed surplus to requirements by the Red Devils this summer, with Moyes said to be keen on being reunited with the duo he worked with during his time at Old Trafford:
Fans on Twitter are flatly against a move for either Lingard or Jones:

Phil Jones is useless why would he even entertain the thought of buying him, and Lingard is no better than what we have already.

Two potentially woeful signings.

It was believed that Moyes was aiming to bring in young talent, and this report would contradict those claims. Jones has been sidelined with numerous injuries in recent years and is very much down the pecking order under manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.
Lingard does have a higher stock due to his performances for England but he has struggled at club level over the past two seasons. The forward has not played a single minute since the restart and he has not scored a league goal for 19 months.
