West Ham are “likely to make a summer move” for Monaco defender Axel Disasi, according to ExWHUEmployee.
The France international was also linked with Manchester United, Tottenham and Arsenal during the January transfer window but Ex says the Hammers are expected to step up their plans to recruit the player at the end of the season.
“Whilst we are looking at a number of players in the French league we think that the main focus will be French international centre back Axel Disasi who I reported us being linked with in January and said we were likely to make a summer move for.”
A number of fans on Twitter are backing a bid for Disasi, although some are worried about the potential competition for the centre-half’s signature:

Disasi is ideally suited to a back three. He made his debut for France as a right-back so he would be very comfortable in the system that manager David Moyes is currently using.
Monaco are, however, unlikely to let the 24-year-old leave on the cheap and, if other Premier League teams do get involved, it could complicate things further. We shall see how this transfer story develops in the coming months.
