‘Get Him Gone’ ‘Only In It For The Money’ – Fans Angered By Hammers Star As Move Away Draws Nearer

Guangzhou Evergrande made a new bid for West Ham forward Marko Arnautovic, according to reports in England.

The 29-year-old was withdrawn from the squad for yesterday’s game against Bournemouth with Hammers manager Manuel Pellegrini feeling the player was not in the right frame of mind play.

Fans on Twitter are frustrated with how things have turned out:

It is believed that Stoke will get 20% of any fee over £20m for Arnautovic with West Ham keen to get £50m for the Austrian international. However, the latest turn of events they may have to settle for less.

Whether they can find a replacement for the forward, it remains to be seen. Deals for Celta Vigo’s Maxi Gomez and Bournemouth’s Callum Wilson have been suggested, while Roma’s Edin Dzeko and Genoa’s Krzysztof Piatek have also been linked. It looks as though the race will soon be on to bring in a new striker before the end of January.
