West Ham Eyeing Move For Former Manchester City Frontman

West Ham are keen on Roma striker Edin Dzeko, according to reports in the English media.

The former Manchester City striker was linked with Chelsea last January, but the Hammers are said to want the 32-year-old as a replacement for Marko Arnautovic.

Manager Manuel Pellegrini has confirmed that the Austrian will be allowed to leave the club for the right price, with the player eyeing a move to China.

Dzeko has performed well for Roma since arriving in Italy on an initial loan deal three and a half years ago. The Bosnian has scored 80 goals in 158 appearances for the Serie A club but has struggled to find the back of the net this campaign, having scored just twice in the league.

West Ham have also been linked with Celta Vigo forward Maxi Gomez as a possible alternative to Dzeko. The Uruguayan has a £44m release clause, but the Hammers may face competition from AC Milan.
