FIVE Bargain Deals Premier League Clubs Could Pick Up Before The Transfer Deadline

As we close in on the final two weeks of the transfer window, we have decided to look at some players who could be picked up relatively cheaply by Premier League teams.

There are a lot of star names who have less than a year left on their contracts, and there is every chance that they could be let go for pretty small sums before the end of the month.

The players we have picked on this list are all relatively young, and we have opted to shy away from including names like Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba, simply because their fees will still be very high despite their current contracts running down.

Press the next page as we look at five bargain deals that clubs could pick up ahead of the transfer deadline.

Andre Onana

The Cameroon international is serving a doping ban currently but he will be available again in November. His club Ajax are only asking for a fee in the region of €8m (£6.8m) with his current deal expiring next summer.

Arsenal, Lyon and Inter Milan have all been suggested as possible suitors but Onana has still not found a club, despite being available for a bargain price.

Denis Zakaria

The Swiss international has been on Liverpool and Manchester City’s radar in recent years but a knee injury has hampered his development.

Zakaria is ready to run down his contract but his team Borussia Monchengladbach are keen to offload him now for around €20m (£17m). Arsenal, Tottenham and Everton have all been mentioned as potential destinations.

Boubacar Kamara

The Frenchman has been tracked by many of the “Big Six” clubs over the past few years, with Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel said to be a big admirer of the holding midfielder.

Newcastle are, though, the only team to have made an approach for Kamara so far this summer. Their £12m offer was reportedly rejected but Marseille know he could leave on a free transfer next year, so they won’t be able to hold out for a sizeable fee.

Marcel Sabitzer

Bayern Munich were thought to be favourites for the Austrian international’s signature, with his former RB Leipzig manager Julian Nagelsmann now at the Allianz Arena.

However, with two weeks to go before deadline day, the Bundesliga champions have not tabled a bid for Sabitzer, who is valued at €20m (£17m). Could a Premier League club hijack the deal?

Corentin Tolisso

The Frenchman is reportedly available for just €10m (£8.5m) and considering Bayern Munich paid over four times that to sign him from Lyon, it really would be a bargain if anyone does snap him up before the window shuts.

West Ham, Arsenal, Manchester United and Juventus are the four teams who are said to be keen on Tolisso, but the Frenchman is not thought to be interested in leaving this summer despite his contract situation.
