West Ham have confirmed that former midfielder Kevin Nolan has rejoined the club as one of David Moyes’ backroom staff, along with Paul Nevin.
The 37-year-old played for the Hammers between 2011 and 2015 before becoming player-manager at both Leyton Orient and Notts County. Fans on Twitter are happy that a former favourite has returned to the London club:

Moyes has been keen to hire extra staff after only bringing in Alan Irvine to be his assistant manager when he was first appointed back in December.
Whether the additional help will have much of an impact on results, it remains to be seen, with the Irons heading into an extremely tough list of fixtures, which begins against Manchester City on Sunday.
West Ham do have a winter break before they face league leaders Liverpool, but it will be a challenging run of games that will likely determine whether they will stay up this season or not.
