West Ham owners David Gold And David Sullivan are unlikely to leave the Hammers anytime soon, according to insider ExWHUemployee.

There have been reports recently that Gold and Sullivan would be willing to sell up for around £600m but ExWHUemployee believes that figure is unrealistic. He feels there will not be a change of ownership for at least the next two years:

“David Sullivan has been quoted as saying that he would only sell the club for approximately £600 million which is the figure that I have said before. I would say it probably is true. That’s the figure that I was given but I don’t think that there are any parties that are prepared to pay that much for West Ham. He (Sullivan) is possibly over-valuing us, particularly because we don’t own the stadium. So I can’t see anyone coming up with that, I think they’ll be here until at least 2023.”

The financial impact of global health crisis means that a bid near to the asking price would be unlikely, as ExWHUemployee points out. There have been reports that American billionaire Joseph DaGrosa could be targeting West Ham. It is believed that he may have moved his attention away from Southampton to the Irons, but it seems the price tag would also put him off.

It does appear as though David Sullivan, in particular, is pricing out buyers, at the moment, and it doesn’t look like he is desperate to sell the club.
