‘Better Than Broja’ ‘Would Take Us To The Next Level. Probably Won’t Happen’ Fans Discuss West Ham’s Move To Sign ‘Arnautovic 2.0’

West Ham have made an improved £36.5m bid for Sassuolo striker Gianluca Scamacca, according to reports in the Italian media.

The offer is said to be worth £31.4m up front, with another £5.1m in add-ons. At the moment, it is not known whether this new offer will be accepted or not.

Sassuolo are reportedly hoping for around €47m (£40m) in total so there is certainly room for compromise between the two sides. However, plenty of fans on Twitter are still not hopeful that a deal will be done:

It does seem as though Hammers boss David Moyes may have decided to move on from the club’s pursuit of Chelsea’s Armando Broja after the Blues stalled on responding to their £30m bid.

Scamacca certainly showed last season that he has what it takes to lead the line. He bagged 16 Serie A goals for Sassuolo and many feel that, at 23 years of age, he could still improve.
