Chelsea striker Armando Broja is “still keen” on joining West Ham despite manager Thomas Tuchel stating that he wants the Albanian to stay, according to journalist Charlie Gordon.
The Daily Express reporter suggests that Chelsea’s attempts haven’t led to Broja changing his mind about leaving Stamford Bridge so far:
Told that Chelsea are delaying Armando Broja’s move to West Ham. Striker still keen, Tuchel publicly calling for him to stay today hasn’t changed anything.

While Tuchel is clearly a fan of Broja, he can’t guarantee the forward what he wants most: game time. The 20-year-old knows that if he joins the Hammers, he will be the main man.
With personal terms reportedly agreed, and a £30m bid submitted, it is now a waiting game for David Moyes’s side. A lot may depend on how patient West Ham are willing to be if Chelsea continue to hold up the transfer.
Broja is unlikely to make a U-turn on his transfer stance but things can change, so the Irons are likely to be looking at backup options just in case.
