West Ham have “made an offer” for Paris Saint-Germain defender Thilo Kehrer, according to Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth.
The Hammers have not received a response from PSG yet but it is believed the German international is the London club’s main target to replace Issa Diop:
West Ham United have made an offer to sign PSG defender Thilo Kehrer. West Ham are awaiting a response. They have other options they will pursue if they can’t reach an agreement with PSG. #Kehrer #WHUFC #PSG

Kehrer is reportedly available for around €20m (£17m) so it remains to be seen whether David Moyes’s side have tabled a bid close to the player’s asking price.
The 25-year-old is deemed surplus to requirements, having been offered to Chelsea already this summer, so West Ham do have a good chance of agreeing a fee for the centre-back.
As Sheth mentions in his tweet, Kehrer is not the only defender that the Irons are said to be pursuing. Manchester United’s Eric Bailly is another name that is under consideration, but they did miss out on Conor Coady, with the Wolves captain having joined Everton instead.
