Top 5 Teenagers Who Have Scored The Most Goals In Europe’s Top 5 Leagues This Season

Scoring goals at the highest level is not easy, and when a teenager hits the headlines, it’s usually because he has made a name for himself by finding the back of the net.

It’s very rare for youngsters to be prolific right from the beginning of their professional careers. Even legends of the game such as Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi took a few years before they were regularly hitting 20 to 30 goals.

In today’s list, we will be looking at players 19 years or below who have been scoring on a regular basis this season.

Press the next page as we name the 5 teenagers with the most goals in Europe’s top 5 leagues.

5) Alejandro Garnacho (Manchester United) – 5 Goals (in 26 Apps)

The Argentinian was handed his first start for his country during the most recent international break, which is a just reward for a strong season at club level.

Garnacho is now a regular starter for United, despite only being 19 years of age, and he has shown that he more than warrants the faith being shown in him by manager Erik ten Hag.

The teenager has 5 Premier League goals (as well as 7 in all competitions) for the Red Devils this campaign.

Based on Garnacho’s current trajectory, he is likely to become even more prolific in the future.

4) Mathys Tel (Bayern Munich) – 5 Goals (in 22 Apps)

Bayern paid a substantial sum to sign the Frenchman from Rennes at the start of last season, and he is beginning to show why the German champions were willing to pay so much to secure his signature.

Despite making just one league start, Tel has hit the back of the net 5 times, including in Bayern’s last match against Darmstadt.

There have been rumours that the 18-year-old is getting rather unsettled with his lack of starting opportunities.

The likes of Manchester United and Arsenal are believed to be keeping close tabs on Tel’s situation.

3) Evan Ferguson (Brighton) – 6 Goals

The Republic of Ireland international has not been as prolific as last season. During the 2022/23 campaign, the striker hit the back of the net 16 times.

However, Ferguson has equalled his league total (6) from last year, albeit having played 7 games more. He is also still the third highest-scoring teenager in Europe’s top 5 leagues.

There is already said to be interest from other Premier League clubs, with Arsenal and Chelsea reportedly monitoring him.

Brighton are not expected to let him leave on the cheap, with it being suggested that the Seagulls could demand as much as £100m.

2) Savio (Girona) – 8 Goals

The Brazilian has been making waves in the Spanish top tier this season, having helped Girona to third in the table.

Savio is just as much a playmaker as he is a goalscorer, having provided 7 assists (in addition to 8 goals) for his team in La Liga.

The 19-year-old will be plying his trade with Manchester City next campaign, with the reigning Premier League champions having secured his services.

As Girona are part of the City Football Group, it was not a surprise that he has ended up at the Etihad.

1) Samu Omorodion (Alaves) – 9 Goals

The young striker won’t be known to many outside Spain but he is currently the highest-scoring teenager across the top 5 European leagues.

Omorodion is actually an Atletico Madrid player, who signed him from Granada last summer. However, the 19-year-old was immediately loaned out to Alaves.

It’s been a successful spell with the newly promoted team, who have given him 19 league starts.

Considering his performances, it remains to be seen whether Omorodion will stay at Atletico next season or if he will be loaned out again.
