The CIES Football Observatory keep close tabs on the value of professional footballers across the world.

They have created a methodology that uses contract length, age, position, league, goals, assists and other metrics to calculate how much each player is worth.

At the moment, the most valuable stars in the Premier League play for only two clubs, with many high-profile names, including Declan Rice, missing out.
