The VERY WORST Haircuts In The Premier League – 2025 Edition

Premier League footballers and wacky hairstyles seem to go hand in hand. While professional players do work hard, they do spend an inordinate amount of time at the barber’s or hairdresser’s.

It means that we have seen some truly terrible haircuts over the past three decades; some of which we hope never to see again on the top of a man’s head.

Mini ponytails, bleached hair, mohawks, mullets – we have seen all sorts of monstrosities as players pursue the latest trends and styles.

While haircuts in the Premier League this season are not particularly extreme, we have still decided to look at some of the worst ones. Read below as we go through our top five:

Alphonse Areola

To be honest with you, our list could have comprised mostly of the Frenchman’s haircuts, as he has already had a small man bun, braids and a hairband so far this campaign.

Areola’s poor form obviously means that Hammers supporters are hardly going to be sympathetic to his choices either.

Manager Graham Potter controversially started the keeper ahead of summer signing Mads Hermansen against Crystal Palace.

However, with Potter on the verge of the sack, Areola’s time as number one could be short-lived.
