Goalkeeper and Defence
GK – David Raya – the Spaniard is set for a third straight Golden Glove, so there is really no debate here.
RB – Ben White – Jurrien Timber would have got the spot if he wasn’t injured, but we would argue that even his understudy is more reliable than either Aaron Wan-Bissaka or Kyle Walker-Peters.
CB – William Saliba – the Frenchman forms part of one of the most formidable centre-back partnerships in world football.
CB – Gabriel – the Gunners have conceded 26 league goals this season, the Hammers have let in 61. There is a huge gulf in terms of the quality of players in the backline.
LB – El Hadji Malick Diouf – Piero Hincapie and Riccardo Calafiori are both solid defenders, but they lack what the Senegalese international provides in the final third.
